User Info

We (PCM Leasing, Inc.) are the developers and network administrator of the automated test management system at the Foreign Type Cheesemaker’s Association lab in Monroe. The lab now features multiply ways to quickly deliver test results and averages to you. In addition to the traditional hardcopy reports and test cards, we are now able to provide tests results and averages via the Internet or dial-in.

You are permitted access only to your directory (share) and the public directory. This protects other members from seeing your test data, and you seeing other member’s data. The test results, at the lab, are currently distributed in .xls (Microsoft Excel) format. Internet and dial-in access both work basically the same.

If you wish to access the FTCMA server via the Internet using your current Internet account, please follow these instructions.

    1. Establish your Internet connection with your Internet service provider.
    2. Using your browser, go to the FTCMA web using the URL www.ftcma.com
    3. Click on the button "Members Only"
    4. Enter your User ID and Password in the dialog box and remember passwords are case sensitive.
    5. You will now see the FTP directories. Click on your FTP sub directory.
    6. In this directory you will see the test result files available for you to download. The file name formats are as follows.

ppppp_mmddyy.xls

ppppp = Your plant number

mmddyy = Month, Day, and Year the results were placed on the FTP server.

You may select any file and download it. (If you’re running IE and have Excel installed on your PC you will need to hold the "shift" key when you double click the file or Excel will automatically launch and display the file when downloaded.)

We also offer a test management client software for $499.00 that will manage test data, print test cards, and print test reports. Technical support is also available at standard PCM rates. If you are already a PCM customer, your Total Milk Management package includes all test management functions and technical support is included per your support agreement.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS.......

Some installations of Internet Explorer (IE) Versions 4 and 5 will fail to trigger the login dialog box when entering the secure FTP area.  In fact the FTCMA Server Log Files don't show a log-in was even attempted.  You can use the following method if you encounter a problem of this type.  Type in the URL as follows replacing the value xxxx with your user id and the value yyyy with your password.  Note passwords are case sensitive.

Ftp://xxxx:yyyy@ftp.ftcma.com

This problem is a Microsoft problem which they have not been able to resolve to date.  If a "fix" is discovered, it will be detailed here.  This is NOT an issue with our test management client software.

PCM also offers complete patron payroll and milk management software for dairy processors, cheese factories, and dairy coops.

Our payroll package, of course, will seamlessly import your test averages for you. No more "keypunch" errors! We also process the FMMA reports for electronic transfer and have complete invoicing for any milk you divert or transfer. We have the most advanced product on the market today at prices that are a fraction of our competition!

Check out our web, www.pcmli.com , drop me an e-mail reply, or give us a call at 815-335-7395 today!
